Windows that stay clean longer

Pure water leaves a streak-free finish on glass, frames and sills, without harsh detergents.

A team you'll recognise

The same trained, uniformed faces visit your home, season after season. Not a different crew each time.

Quietly carbon-conscious

Pure-water systems and a fully electric fleet, without making it the headline.

The Trim Method

Two-step clean for trim that lasts.

UPVC, painted timber and aluminium trim each need a different approach. We use a two-step method - soft-wash chemistry to lift the grime, then pure-water rinse - so the finish stays clean longer.

Soft-wash lift

A plant-safe biocide applied to the trim lifts black algae, road grime and bird mess at source. Dwells for 5-10 minutes depending on the staining.

Pure-water rinse

Rinsed clean with deionised water from a reach pole. No residue, no streaking, no chemical wash-off onto the wall below.

Spot-checked from the ground

We don't leave until the trim looks right from every angle. Walked over with you where possible, particularly for managed-block work.

What's included

Every part of the exterior trim.

The trim isn't just the soffit. It's everything between the wall and the roof - and the parts of the wall the rain doesn't quite reach.

Soffits and fascias

UPVC, painted timber and aluminium fascias. Black algae lifted at source, pure-water rinsed to a clean white finish.

Bargeboards and dormer cheeks

The vertical trim around gable ends and dormer windows - often the dirtiest part of the front elevation, and what guests see first.

Downpipes and gutters (outside)

External faces of gutters and downpipes cleaned to the same finish. For internal gutter clearing, see our gutter cleaning service.

UPVC and aluminium cladding

Modern cladding panels cleaned without scratching. We avoid abrasive pads on aluminium - only soft-wash chemistry and pure-water rinse.

Conservatory frames and capping

The UPVC capping that runs along conservatory ridges and joints. Cleaned in the same visit as the conservatory glass, by arrangement.

Garage doors and porch trim

UPVC garage doors, porch surrounds, painted timber porch posts. All cleaned to the same standard as the main fascia.

Built for these properties

Where trim cleaning makes the biggest visual difference.

Dirty fascias age a building more than dirty windows. These are the properties where trim work has the most impact.

Edwardian and Victorian terraces

Painted timber fascias, decorative barge boards, lead-lined hopper heads. Cleaned with the right chemistry for the substrate.

Modern semis with UPVC trim

Bromley, Sevenoaks, Beckenham family homes. Standard UPVC fascias and soffits - soft-washed and rinsed to white.

Mansion blocks

Communal fascia runs, gable trim, conservatory cappings on roof terraces. Scheduled annually as part of building maintenance.

Conservatory and orangery trim

UPVC capping, ridge trim, and the bits between the roof glass and the wall. Cleaned to match the rest of the property.

Kent commuter homes

Larger gardens, larger fascia runs, often two-storey. Heavier algae on north-facing trim - annual cleaning makes the biggest visible difference.

New-build estates

Modern UPVC and aluminium cladding cleaned without damage. We avoid abrasive methods - only soft-wash chemistry and pure-water rinse.

How we work

Right chemistry. Right reach. No damage.

Trim work goes wrong when the chemistry is too harsh or the access kit is too aggressive. We've learned the right balance.

Pure-water rinse, not detergent residue

We rinse with deionised water from a reach pole. No detergent residue left behind, no streaking as it dries - same standard as window cleaning.

Fully insured, certificates on file

£5m public liability, employer's liability, accidental-damage cover. Certificates available ahead of any first visit.

Soft-bristle attachments only

On UPVC, aluminium and painted timber we use soft-bristle pole heads. No abrasive pads, no risk of scratch marks on the trim.

Done from the ground for most properties

Carbon-fibre reach poles handle most domestic trim work without ladders. Towers or MEWP for unusually tall buildings, by arrangement.

Choose the right rhythm

Annual, biennial or one-off.

Trim picks up algae faster than glass. Most properties benefit from an annual or biennial trim clean - particularly on north-facing elevations.

One-off clean

A single visit when the fascia is visibly black, or pre-sale to lift the kerb appeal. Quoted per property.

Biennial visit

Every two years. The rhythm most homes settle into - keeps the trim looking properly maintained without over-treatment.

Annual maintenanceRecommended

For north-facing trim, properties under heavy tree cover, or homes near the coast. Annual cleaning prevents the deep staining that takes longer to lift.

Trim cleaning is often bundled with window cleaning for a single-visit price. Every quote is itemised so you can see exactly what's included.

Questions

Things people often ask.

Why does my fascia look black when the rest of the house looks fine?
Fascias and soffits sit out of the rain's reach but still catch road grime, bird mess, and the spores of black algae. They pick up staining faster than walls, but rinse off cleanly with the right method.
Can you clean painted timber fascias?
Yes. We use a gentler chemistry on painted timber and we'll flag any failing paint or rotting wood we find. We clean - we don't repaint, but we'll recommend a painter if needed.
Will it damage UPVC?
No. Soft-wash chemistry is plant-safe and UPVC-safe. We use soft-bristle pole heads - no abrasive pads, no risk of micro-scratches on the trim.
